From 13 to 15 February, the Exposalão de Sernancelhe once again becomes a meeting point for authentic flavours and cultural entertainment with the 12th edition of the Soup Festival and Folk Groups Gathering.

Over three days, this event offers a true immersion in traditional Portuguese gastronomy, bringing together a wide variety of typical soups prepared by local associations, alongside regional products and plenty of folk music.

The celebration begins on Friday evening with the official opening and a visit to the ethnographic exhibition, followed by soup tastings and musical and folk performances. The programme features groups such as Incanto, the Folk and Ethnographic Group of Vila Cova à Coelheira, and Rancho Folclórico Terra da Castanha, among others.

On Saturday and Sunday, the event starts in the early afternoon with stalls selling local products and tastings, complemented by the Folk Groups Gathering, which brings ensembles from various regions to the stage.
