On February 6th, Revista de Vinhos will host another edition of the "Best of the Year" awards, one of the most important distinctions in Portugal's wine, gastronomy, and wine tourism sectors. The ceremony will take place at the Porto Customs House and will bring together professionals, producers, and leading figures in the sector.

The awards are an important recognition of the merit, quality, and consistency of the work developed over the past year by industry professionals who contribute to the appreciation of Portuguese wine and national gastronomy, both in the domestic and international markets.

Throughout the evening, awards will be presented in more than two dozen categories, with highlights including Wine of the Year, Producer of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, Company of the Year, as well as Personalities of the Year in the areas of Wine, Gastronomy, and Brazil.

Two distinctions of great relevance to the consumer and the market will also be revealed:

30 Wines of Excellence, which recognize the wines with the best performance in the magazine's tastings;

Purchase of the Year, awarded to the wine with the best value for money up to 10 euros and with significant production.

In this edition, a tribute will also be paid to Lídia Monteiro, a member of the Board of Directors of Turismo de Portugal, for her contribution to the affirmation of wine tourism and gastronomy as strategic pillars of national tourism promotion.

The ceremony will have around 900 guests and will be presented by Maria Cerqueira Gomes and José João Santos, being broadcast live on the digital platforms of Revista de Vinhos.
